Scherzo is designed with privacy as a default. The app works entirely offline and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your Mac.
Scherzo does not collect or transmit:
Scherzo reads audio files and writes metadata tags (title, artist, album, artwork) directly on your device when you use the tag editor. This data never leaves your Mac. No copy is made to any server or cloud service.
Scherzo is a fully offline application. It does not make network requests, connect to external servers, or require an internet connection for any feature.
Scherzo is sold through the Apple Mac App Store. All purchase transactions are processed exclusively by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or purchase history. For Apple's privacy practices, see apple.com/legal/privacy.
Scherzo does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Scherzo does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As no data is collected at all, the app is safe for all ages.
If we ever update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since we collect no data, any changes would only reflect new features or clarifications — not new data practices.
