Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Scherzo ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

Lava API grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Scherzo on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Permitted Use

You may use Scherzo to:

• Play audio files that you own or have the legal right to play
• Edit metadata tags on audio files you own
• Manage your personal music library

Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense the App or any part of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to play, distribute, or reproduce copyrighted content without authorisation
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

Your Content

Scherzo does not upload, transmit, or store your music files or metadata on any server. All files remain on your device. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to play and modify any files you use with the App.

Purchases

Scherzo is available for purchase on the Apple Mac App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We do not offer refunds directly — please use Apple's Report a Problem process for refund requests.

Updates

We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may change or remove features. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Scherzo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lava API shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to loss of data or damage to files.

Intellectual Property

Scherzo and all associated branding, graphics, and code are the property of Lava API. Scherzo is a trademark of Lava API. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia (country), without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
